Tempe — The Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect responsible for firing multiple bullets at another driver during a road rage incident that occurred northbound along SR-101 north of the Red Mountain SR-202 Junction.

At about 6:25 a.m., a gray Jeep Wrangler with a black top attempted to pass a maroon or burnt orange-colored, square bodied passenger vehicle, possibly a Honda Element. The vehicle prevented the Jeep from passing. Eventually, the Jeep was able to pass the suspect vehicle and that is when the driver pointed a handgun at the Jeep and fired three to four bullets into the passenger side of the Jeep. One bullet penetrated underneath the passenger-side door handle and two other bullets blew out the right-rear tire. No one was injured.
