Police Find Car of Elderly Woman Found Brutally Murdered

PHILADELPHIA –UPDATE: Philadelphia police say they have located the car belonging to a murdered elderly woman.

The vehicle, which belonged to the victim, was parked at the intersection of 25th and Clearfield Streets, CBS-Philly reported.

EARLIER REPORT:  An elderly woman has been discovered dead in Northwest Philly.

The victim was found with her throat slashed just after noon on Monday near the 300 block of Roumfort Rd., according to CBS Philly. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 85-year-old woman was located inside a bedroom, it’s unclear if the home was the residence of the victim.

The woman’s car is missing from the scene: 2007 Toyota Corolla/PA tag: PD1402X

No arrests have been made. No further details were available.
