Police Identify Teen Found Dead in Garage; Her Killer Remains on the Loose

BOSTON — At about 8:51 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, officers assigned to District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a person down in the area of 54 Princeton Street. On arrival, officers located a female victim in her late teens or early twenties inside of a garage suffering from undetermined traumatic injuries.

The victim, fully clothed and bloodied, was pronounced deceased at the scene and has since been identified as 19-year-old Blanca Lainez of East Boston.

The Boston Police Department continues to actively review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
