Queens Warrant Nets Cache Of Weapons, 3 Arrested

Police Officers from the 106 Precinct, the NYPD’s Intelligence Bureau and Emergency Service Unit conducted a search warrant at a residence in South Ozone Park, Queens Thursday morning.

The warrant stemmed from and investigation by the intelligence officers who are assigned to the Queens precinct.

The search warrant led to three arrests, a cache of weapons and contraband being recovered.

“Through precision policing and investigations led by field intelligence officers and precinct officers we’re taking guns and drugs off the street to keep the community safe,” said Sergeant Muir.

Recovered:

Raven semi-automatic handgun, .25 caliber
11 rounds of .25 caliber ammunition
Three rifle-style BB Guns
One machete
Two tiger hook swords
A quantity of marijuana
A quantity of pills

Criminal Possession of a Weapon
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
Unlawful Possession of Marijuana
