OHIO — Around 6am Tuesday morning, Cleveland Police Officer David Fahey #2453, was struck by a vehicle on I-90 westbound just west of Warren Road. Officer Fahey was conveyed to Metro Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The vehicle that struck the officer did not stop and fled the area. Working with multiple law enforcement agencies in the area, the suspect vehicle was located on E. 31st in Lorain, Ohio.
Detectives are questioning a male regarding the crash. An arrest has not been confirmed.
