Johns Creek, GA, – Two men are in jail and a third is on the run after police say a homeowner caught them trying to break into his house.Home owner, Jack Xu says he confronted three men outside his Parian Run home.
“They trying to break into my house through my backyard window,” Xu said. “I fired a shot in the air. I was trying to tell the guy I got a real gun.”Xu says he called 911 and the men took off in a white car.
Dashcam video shows the getaway vehicle crossing paths with a police vehicle, leading to a chase.
The burglary suspects bailed out of the car. A police cruiser hit one of the suspects just before running the cruiser into a tree.Police arrested Kahzier Simmons, 19, and Damone Taylor.
Accoring to police Taylor was driving the car and is facing numerous charges, including aggravated assault on an officer, and fleeing and eluding.Simmons is facing loitering and obstruction charges.
