Rochester, NY Cancels New Year’s Eve Fireworks Amid Terror Fears

NEW YORK — The city of Rochester has cancelled it’s firework celebration scheduled for New Year’s Eve at midnight.

“Fireworks are cancelled tonight but the FREE family events inside the Convention Center and at MLK ice rink are STILL ON,” the city wrote on Facebook.

The move comes following the arrest of alleged ISIS supporter.

No further details were available.
