SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a Capitol Hill synagogue was vandalized with anti-Semitic, holocaust-denying graffiti.

Around 5 AM Friday morning, an SPD officer working off-duty in the area spotted a spray painted message, describing the Holocaust as “fake history”, on an exterior wall of the temple in the 1400 block of 16th Avenue.

The officer contacted the temple and documented the hate-graffiti, and police are conducting additional patrols in the area. SPD’s Bias Crimes unit is reviewing the incident.
