Elmore County, Alabama –The deputy was killed in an accident involving 2 vehicles around 7:45 P.M., Sunday. Three occupants of the other vehicle were killed. Another was airlifted for treatment.

Alabama State Troopers and Sheriff’s deputies were at the scene of the accident and are investigating. The Sheriff does confirm that the deputy was on routine patrol when that accident occurred.
