Morelia, Mexico — (Scroll down for video) — While his wife was sleeping, a man is seen drowning his stepdaughter at the hotel’s swimming pool, after repeatedly throwing and submerging her under the water.
According to ‘The Dreamin’ Demon,’ the child stopped breathing and was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy would reveal the girl had died from secondary drowning. This type of “dry drowning” can occur minutes or hours after someone has exited the water if they have breathed water into their lungs. This is especially dangerous for children, as it can cause the lungs to swell and stop them from providing enough oxygen to the bloodstream.
The man was arrested last Friday after he was found in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is currently in jail on several charges, including aggravated homicide.
