A 15-year-old student has now been arrested after he made threats to bring guns and knives to his school to kill classmates because girls wouldn’t send him naked pictures of themselves.

The student, who hasn’t been named, boasted about having a 12-gauge shotgun, a pistol and knives that he planned to bring to Highland High School, Idaho, to carry out a mass killing.

The boy also used his twitter account to message girls, particularly cheerleaders, make threats at Barack Obama and make racist comments about black people.

Police from Pocatello county were then alerted to the threats after one of the boy’s classmates posted his angry text messages on Facebook and have no charged him with threatening violence and also harassment.

Highland High was also placed on lockdown on Wednesday, with parents and students only allowed in through one of the entrances.

In the messages to one of his classmates, the 15-year-old said: ‘I will bring a gun to school Friday and shoot all the girls.

‘I will. I’m serious. Will do it at 9.30 Friday during first hour. In [sic] serious I have [a] 12 gauge shotgun and a 9mm pistol I will bring and start killing everyone.’

When asked why he is planning on carrying out his rampage he responds that it is because of ‘nudes’ – naked pictures sent over social media or via text.

A spokesman for the school district said: ‘The school district and Pocatello Police Department worked in partnership to investigate a threat of harm to a student or students.

‘The threat was posted on social media and was reported to school officials. The District and Police Department have completed their investigation. A suspect is in custody and is being held in the juvenile detention center.
