Cops Offer $5k Reward, Release Video of Violent Home Invader

TEXAS — (Scrol down for video) — On December 17, 2015, at approximately 6:30 a.m., an unknown suspect broke into a residence in the 10300 block of Pondwood and removed a wedding ring and cash. The homeowner was inside the residence when this offense was committed. The suspect kicked in the front door setting the alarm off. The homeowner heard the alarm and locked herself into the bathroom and called 911. The suspect returned five minutes later and reentered the home. The homeowner fired one shot at the suspect from inside her locked bathroom. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect.

On December 25, 2015, at approximately 12:30 a.m., an unknown suspect entered through an unlocked sliding glass door at the rear of a house located in the 700 block of Pleasant Woods. The homeowners were also home at the time this offense was committed. The suspect entered and exited the home multiple times with the homeowner’s property without the homeowners knowledge. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect. This offense is documented on case number 300217-2015.

The Dallas Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward and seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect.
