Teen Girl Shot In The Back While Walking Down The Street In Pittsburgh, Police Say

TORONTO -- On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, members of the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre arrested a man and his fiancée for the Gang Sexual Assault of a 14-year-old girl.

PITTSBURGH, PA – Around 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, police were notified that a female had been shot in the 500 block of N. Homewood Avenue.

Officers arrived to find the victim, an 18-year-old from Braddock, conscious and breathing.

Paramedics transported her to UPMC Presbyterian in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the back.

According to police, the victim is believed to have been walking along N. Homewood toward Susquehana Street with an unidentified male at the time of the shooting.
