NASHVILLE — North Precinct detectives are investigating the early Sunday morning fatal shooting of 17-year-old Brandon Williams inside a crowded night club at 1402 Arctic Avenue.
Officers responded to Kilimanjaro night club at 1 a.m. and found Williams lying unresponsive on the dance floor. Williams, of 12th Avenue North, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
Although a very large crowd was gathered inside the club at the time of the shooting, most persons were gone when officers arrived.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid to late 20s with shoulder length dreadlocks. At the time of the shooting he wore a red and white striped shirt and blue jeans. He is approximately 5’6”-5’11” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
