WATCH: (Scroll Down For Vide) A teenager from Arizona will need a prosthetic eye after he was shot by muggers who shot him near his home with a BB gun.

Jordan Lavin, aged 16, of Glendale, was walking with a friend to buy a video game on Wednesday when three masked men pulled up in a pickup truck and pulled out what appeared to be a handgun.

The teenager said that the assailants smacked him with the BB gun before a shot was fired directly into his pupil.

The teenager said that he was likely to escape the encounter alive.

‘If my friend wasn’t there I probably would have bled out, I probably would have just stayed there, probably cry, and just probably die,’ he told Fox 10 Phoenix.

The robbers, who Lavin thinks were teens, drove off with the two young men’s phones and $23 in cash.

Lavin said that he originally thought the men, one of whom was wearing a mask from the movie Scream, may be joking before they put the gun up to his friend’s neck.

As of Monday morning, they are still on the loose.

‘I don’t know who you are but I forgive you,’ Lavin told 12 News.

The teenager will have his right eye removed and replaced with a prosthetic sometime this week.
