PERRY, N.Y. – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Buffalo Station arrested two illegal aliens last weekend, after a police officer from the Town of Perry requested assistance in identifying two subjects.
Border Patrol agents responded to a call from Perry Police on December 17. Perry officers requested assistance to identify two subjects encountered while investigating an abandoned vehicle found in the middle of a road. The individuals were identified as Eliaquin Abilder Aguilar-Roblero, age 22, and Francisco Javier Roblero-Bravo, age 20. A Border Patrol records check revealed the pair were illegally present in the U.S. Following the Perry Police Department’s investigation of a potential alcohol-related violation, the subjects were arrested and transported to the Buffalo Border Patrol Station for processing.
Record checks revealed that Aguilar-Roblero legally entered the U.S. on May 2, 2016, on a valid visa as an agricultural worker. He received his visa to work at a farm in Waycross, Ga., though the visa expired on July 5, 2016. Aguilar-Roblero stated that he moved to Perry, N.Y., to work on a local farm, instead of leaving the U.S.
Roblero-Bravo claimed that he entered the U.S. illegally in December, 2015, by crossing the Rio Grande River. Both subjects were held in DHS custody pending removal from the U.S.
