A 23 year-old woman died on a transatlantic flight from London to New Jersey, The Guardian reported.
The flight landed at Newark Airport in New Jersey yesterday evening.
A doctor tried to help the woman, who was believed to be traveling alone, but failed to do so.
The woman “reportedly had pre-existing medical conditions.”
United Airlines issued the following statement:
“United confirms that a passenger passed away on flight UA115 from London Heathrow to New York/Newark on December 1 2014. We offer our condolences to the passenger’s family. For privacy reasons, it would not be appropriate for us to comment further.”
