A 4-year-old boy’s death from suspected dry drowning may have saved another child’s life. Frankie Delgado died six days after he went swimming with his family. Doctors said it was a case of dry or secondary drowning which occurs when water is breathed in to the lungs. Frankie’s story was widely shared and a father in Colorado reports he recognized similar symptoms in his son, 2-year-old Gio Vega.
