WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) A recording of a phone call made by two ‘dumb-asses’ who got high and turned paranoid turned themselves in has been released by Idaho police.
Leland Ayala-Doliente, aged 23, and his friend Holland Sward, aged 23, were travelling from Las Vegas to Montana after buying some cannabis.
Ayala Doliente thought they were surrounded by police and called 911.
The conversation starts by saying: “Hi, uh, we’re the two dumbasses that got caught trying to bring some stuff through your border and all your cops are just driving around us like a bunch of jack wagons and I’d just like for you guys to end it.”
The drug traffickers had 20 pounds of marijuana in a dog cage ready for the police on the pavement.
They were both charged with one count of trafficking marijuana.
Sward was given a suspended five-year sentence and only served 30 days in jail.
Ayala-Doliente was sentenced to one-and-a-half to eight years in prison after testing positive for marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone.
