NYPD Officers from Patrol Borough Brooklyn North carried out a Secret Santa operation for students of P.S – I.S. 323 in Brownsville.
These officers maintain a close relationship with the school, often hosting assemblies and teaching classroom lessons.
Recently, the officers asked students to make holiday wish lists. Some of the answers surprised them. Instead of asking for the latest gadget, students asked for school supplies, pots and pans for mom, sneakers for their family.
One student asked for food and water. The officers each chipped in on wish list items, then reached out to the students families and arranged for some very special deliveries.
