MUNCIE, Indiana — One woman wound up in jail and another woman got stabbed in the eye with a fork at a barbecue gone horribly wrong.
The Star Press reported that the woman, 45, was a guest at a party when the host’s daughter accused her of taking the last rib out of the kitchen.
Sabrina Davis told police the victim accused her of “taking all the food,” so she stabbed her in the eye with a fork. A witness said the victim then grabbed a knife and was trying to get at Davis, according to RNN.
Davis said she acted in self-defense because the woman was brandishing the knife when she made the accusation.
Davis was arrested and held in the Delaware Country Jail under a $5,000 bond as of Tuesday, the Star Press reported.
