14-Year-Old Girl Goes Missing From Her Bronx Home; NYPD Asking For Assistance

NEW YORK — The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person from the Bronx – within the confines of the 43rd Precinct.

Missing is Janay Ortiz (14), of 1710 Randall Avenue.

She was last seen Monday, October 15, 2018 at 7:15AM leaving her residence. She is described as a female Hispanic, light complexion, 5’4″, 125lbs, long blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
