17-Year-Old Wendy’s Customer Shoots Drive-Thru Worker After Receiving Wrong Size Drink

LYNN, Mass. – Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in relation to a shooting incident that occurred at a Wendy’s drive-thru in Lynn last month.

The individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody on Wednesday after a high-speed car pursuit.

On February 7, a worker at the Boston Street restaurant was shot via the drive-thru window, with the 16-year-old boy sustaining injuries.

The accused will be charged with armed assault with an intent to commit murder and witness intimidation.

According to a family member of the victim who spoke with WBZ-TV, the perpetrator was angry over receiving an incorrectly sized drink.
