On Saturday, at 4:32 A.M. Troopers responded to a one vehicle collision on County Route 13C in the town of Burns, Allegany County.
Police say that the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with five occupants traveling east bound on County Route 13C failed to stop for a stop sign at the T-intersection of County Route 13C and County Route 13 traveling through the intersection striking a tree then coming to rest in an earth embankment.
Front seat passenger, Kelsi A. Bird, 16 of Dansville, NY was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for multiple non-life threatening injuries and was the only person wearing a seat belt during the collision. The operator, Rebecca L. Earner, 16 of Dansville, NY and the other three occupants, Ambra E. Eddleton, 16, Justin D. Carpenter, 14 and Kyrstin L. Wolfanger, 14 all of Dansville, NY, were pronounced at the scene.
