TUCSON, Ariz. – Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Nogales Station arrested a 26-year-old Mexican national Wednesday evening who had been deported from the United States on Feb. 27 after serving a nine-month prison sentence for “reckless homicide”.

Agents arrested Genaro Galvan-Mora near Nogales, Arizona, and learned of his previous conviction during processing. A records check revealed that Galvan was convicted in May 2016 on a reckless homicide charge in Loudon County, Tennessee.

Galvan is being processed in accordance to Tucson Sector guidelines and now faces felony immigration charges for illegal re-entry.
