CAIRO – A roadside bomb struck a tourist bus filled with foreigners from Vietnam near Egypt’s renown Giza Pyramids, killing at least two Vietnamese and injuring 10 others, officials have told international media.

Images from local outlets and on social media show a white bus with shattered glass and strong damage to the left side of the bus, with the right side remaining largely intact.

The explosive was hidden behind a wall as the vehicle was passing by, according to the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior, adding that two Egyptians, including the bus driver, number among the injured.

The bomb went off round 6:15 p.m. local time on Maryoutiya Street in the Haram district of  Giza, the ministry said.
