Police are investigating the murder of a 14-year-old girl at a water park in Kansas City, Missouri.
The body has been identified as that of Alexis Kane, a student at Smith Hale Middle School.
Kansas City police were called at 1 p.m. to The Bay Water Park, located on 7101 Longview Road for an ambulance call at about 1 p.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived, they were notified of the death.
Authorities said at first that the death seemed suspicious, but are now treating the death as a homicide.
A cause of death has not yet been released.
