Border Patrol Rescues Illegal Aliens At Texas Ranch

LAREDO, Texas – The first event occurred on August 7, 2017, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) Unit rescued four illegal aliens in a ranch northwest of Laredo, Texas. The subjects had resorted to calling 911 for assistance after they became lost in the brush. One of the subjects was treated by a Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician for heat exhaustion. The rest of the subjects were found in good health and determined to be from the country of Mexico.

Later that same day, Border Patrol agents assigned to the BORSTAR Unit along with the assistance of a CBP Air and Marine Operations helicopter, rescued one illegal alien in a ranch northwest of Laredo, Texas. The subject resorted to calling 911 for assistance after he became lost in the brush. The illegal alien was found in good health and determined to be from the country of Guatemala.

Later that afternoon, Border Patrol agents assigned to the BORSTAR Unit rescued one illegal alien in a ranch northwest of Laredo, Texas. The subject had resorted to calling 911 for assistance after he became lost in the brush. The illegal alien was found in good health and determined to be from the country of Mexico.

The fourth event took place on August 8, 2017, as Border Patrol agents assigned to the BORSTAR Unit rescued one illegal alien in a ranch northwest of Laredo, Texas. The subject also resorted to calling 911 for assistance after he became lost in the brush. The illegal alien was found severely dehydrated and was administered with Intravenous Fluid therapy (IV) in the field by a Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician. The illegal alien responded well to the initial care and determined to be from the country of Mexico.
