SEATTLE — Police arrested a 17-year-old at the scene of a homicide in North Seattle Tuesday morning.
Just before 8 AM, police received a call from the teen at an apartment in the 900 block of Northeast 105th Street. Officers arrived and found a 45-year-old woman with severe injuries and later declared her deceased at the scene.
Officers arrested the victim’s 17-year-old son, who was sitting outside when police arrived and admitted to the crime.
Neighbors told KIRO the woman was deaf, and her son often translated for her. Police did not reveal exactly how she died or provide details on a possible motive.
Another domestic violence murder. Seattle police say the suspect is 17 y/o. Neighbors tell me their relationship is mother and son.
This is at Roosevelt & 105th.
