CANADA — Ottawa police are investigating after two small aircraft reportedly collided mid-air in Carp, Ontario Sunday.
Rescue crews were responding to the area.
According to CBC news, ‘one of the planes crashed near McGee Side Road and the other was redirected to the Ottawa International Airport, where it landed safely.’

There was no immediate word on injuries.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating.
Carp is a compact rural community in West Carleton-March Ward in the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, located in the northwestern portion of the municipality on the Carp River. It is about 33 kilometres from downtown Ottawa.
