NEW YORK — Two NYPD sergeants were shot during a gunfight in the Van Nest section of the Bronx Friday afternoon.
The scene is at Noble Avenue.
One Officer was shot ‘more than ten times’ in the leg, according to PIX11. The other was struck in the head and later pronounced deceased.
The incident began as a robbery/home invasion call.
Both injured officers were rushed to Jacobi Hospital–reportedly in a squad car.
The suspect was shot and killed.
