YARMOUTH, Maine – On Tuesday, the shootings that occurred on a highway in Maine has been connected to a second crime scene where four individuals were found dead in a home located approximately 25 miles away in the town of Bowdoin, State Police said.
The gunfire on Interstate 295 in Yarmouth resulted in at least three individuals sustaining injuries. One person was taken into custody after the highway shooting, and at least one of the injured individuals was reported to be seriously injured.
At the site of the incident along I-295, some of the police officers carried rifles, and a car with apparent bullet holes in the windshield was examined by officers. Witnesses reported seeing one person in handcuffs.
