EWA BEACH, Hawaii – A preliminary magnitude 6.1 Earthquake struck 29 km South of Naalehu, Hawaii Sunday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
At this time, there is no tsunami threat.
Local news station KHON2 reports that residents felt the shaking ‘in Pahoa on the Big island, as well as on Oahu in Kaneohe, Kailua, Kuliouou, Niu Valley, Waipahu, and Waikiki.’
