Multiple law enforcement agencies were responding to an active shooter in downtown Puyallup Monday.
The scene is in the 320 block of East Pioneer Avenue. It was unclear what led up to the incident—injuries are unknown.
The Puyallup School District placed several schools on lockdown as a precaution. Residents are being told to avoid the area.
