SACRAMENTO, CA — There was a massive police response to an active shooter incident at a church in the Arden area of Sacramento County Monday evening.
At least five people were killed.
The scene is near Wyda Way and Ethan Way — the site of ‘The Church in Sacramento.’
According to local media, a father fatally shot his three children before killing himself. The children are believed to be under the ages of 15-years-old.
Another person was also killed — it was unclear if the fifth victim had any relation to the suspect.
At 5:07 call came in. Shooting inside church.
Worker upstairs heard shot and more shots.

SWAT trucks and police helicopters were seen in the area and residents were being asked to stay indoors.
Law enforcement called the shooting isolated and said there is no danger to the public.
“Another senseless act of gun violence in America,” California Governor Gavin Newsom wrote in a tweet. “This time in our backyard. In a church with kids inside. Absolutely devastating. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families and their communities. We are working closely with local law enforcement.”
