CHICAGO, Ill. — One person is dead and at least five others are wounded following a shooting at a restaurant in Chicago’s Morgan Park neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
The gunfire rang out around 1:45 p.m. local time at the Lumes Pancake House–located at 11601 S. Western Avenue.
Local media says the victims were sitting outside under a tent dining when an SUV pulled up and someone started shooting. According to NBC Chicago, the person that was killed was the intended target of the shooting.
