The driver of a car intentionally struck an Oceanside police officer conducting traffic stop Monday.
The scene was at Oceanside Boulevard and Foussat Road. One suspect was in custody and the wounded officer was airlifted to a hospital—condition unknown.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder, police told NBC San Diego.
