CHANDLER, ARIZONA — Officials in Chandler swarmed a Walmart Tuesday afternoon to investigate a reported bomb threat. The scene is located at 202 and Arizona Ave. The store has been evacuated.
“The Department is currently working a bomb threat at the Walmart,” police said on Facebook. “The store has been evacuated and police personnel are on scene. Please be mindful of the increased traffic. Avoid the area if possible.”
Police didn’t say how the threat was received. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
