A Delta Boeing jet that was carrying the NBA’s Utah Jazz was forced to make emergency landing back to Salt Lake City Tuesday after striking a bird, airport officials said.
KSL’s Chopper 5 showed the plane after the incident with fire crews escorting the Delta 757 down the tarmac at Salt Lake City Airport.
The Jazz were flying to Tennessee to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
No injuries were reported.
