DALLAS, TX — Flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas’ Love Field were halted Monday evening.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the incident is in response to a communications problem with air traffic control.
CBS-DFW reported: The FAA says there’s an “undetermined problem” that has interrupted radio communications to the Dallas-Fort Worth Terminal Radar Approach Control. The issue started just before 7:40 p.m.
#BREAKING: The FAA says air traffic controllers at DFW’s TRACON still have limited communications with inbound flights and are working to get those airplanes on the ground in advance of a rapidly moving line of thunderstorms. Uncertain what caused the radio interruptions.
