Pembroke Pines, FL. — Police say a man killed three of his family members and injured a child before trying to kill himself Sunday.
At 8:27 p.m., members of the Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Departments responded to a suspicious incident located near the 1600 block of SW 156 Avenue.
As police officers responded to the residence, 911 operators upgraded the call and provided information that a male subject murdered family members and intended to end his own life. When police officers arrived, a rapid action team was immediately assembled and first responders entered the home.
Officers discovered three deceased victims, seemingly from gunshot wounds.
Rapid action team members located a child, and Fire Rescue immediately transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation and appears domestic in nature.
