BATON ROUGE — Louisiana State University issued a campus-wide alert Tuesday due to a possible armed suspect.
Students and faculty received the alert around 3 p.m., warning of an incident at Coates Hall.
“Reported armed intruder in Coates Hall. Run Hide or Fight. LSUPD on scene,” the university said on it’s website.
Run: Exit the area and move away from danger.
Hide: If escape is not possible, find a safe area to hide.

No injuries were immediately reported. It was unclear if any suspects were in custody.
