Valhalla, NEW YORK — Multiple EMS units and police are on scene with 6 unresponsive people. The scene is at the Westchester County Jail, 10 Woods Road, Valhalla.
They say the inmates were found unresponsive in a cell block.
At least one person was in Cardiac Arrest, according to scanner reports.
A mass casualty incident was declared and a command post has been established.
Westchester County police would not confirm the medical conditions of the inmates or exactly what caused the reported overdoses.
Officers were sent to the jail, as well as ambulances.
Officials suspect drug overdoses.
