Tallassee, ALABAMA — Three people are dead following a car crash and shooting at a Walmart Superstore in Tallassee Tuesday.
According to WSFA, an ‘unidentified man crashed his vehicle into another vehicle in the Walmart parking lot, located off Gilmer Avenue, Tuesday morning. The man then got out of his vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the other vehicle.’
Tallassee Mayor Johnny Hammock described the incident as a double-murder/suicide and said the two deceased victims are females.

Police called the crime a “domestic incident” but did not release a motive.
The identities of the victims were not known.
Tallassee is a city on the Tallapoosa River, located in both Elmore and Tallapoosa counties in Alabama.
