Frederick County, MARYLAND — At least one person is dead and another injured during a reported stabbing at a ‘prayer center’ in Maryland Sunday evening.
The incident took place at the Anna Prayer Counseling Center, according to CBS Baltimore.
Police say one person is in custody and that there’s is no threat to the community related to the stabbing.
The location is a prayer/retreat center, a Korean non profit, non denominational. At the time of the crime, a prayer service was being held, reports said.
The suspet taken into custody called 911 and turned himself in. The suspect had been staying at the Anna Prayer facility for approximately a week, reports said.
The victims were a husband and wife, the male was killed. The female victim was rushed to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
