TEXAS — Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred on the University of Texas-Austin campus Monday afternoon. One person was killed and three others were injured.
The violence broke out near the Gregory gym area of campus. The lone suspect is in custody and police said ‘there is no ongoing threat to the campus community.’
The attacker, who was armed with a large hunting knife, has been identified as Kendrex J. White, 21—charges are pending.
The deceased victim is Harrison Brown, the Graham Independent School District confirmed: The news of Harrison Brown’s (GHS Class of 2016) passing is heartbreaking There are no words adequate enough to express the sorrow felt by Graham ISD and the community of Graham for this loss. Harrison was an inspiration to everyone around him. We were Blessed and honored to have known him.

Police said in a news conference they did not know a motive but were interrogating White, who did not resist arrest when police arrived.
The investigation continues.
