Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA – Two people were killed and at least five others were wounded after of a shooting at Peck Park in San Pedro Sunday afternoon. The scene is in the 560 block of N. Western Avenue.
“At least seven injured civilians (4 Male 3 Female, no ages available ) have been taken to area hospitals by LAFD Paramedics following gunfire at or near a car show at Peck Park,” the LA Fire Department said. “At least three of the patients are confirmed to have sustained gunshot injury, including one Male and one Female, both transported in Critical condition. There are no other patients remaining at scene. The incident circumstances, patient demographics, affiliation and precise nature of each patient’s injuries have yet to be confirmed.”
Shortly after the incident, the LAPD issued a citywide tactical alert.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the gunfire of if any suspects were in custody.
