Nashville International Airport (BNA), Concourse C was evacuated Sunday after the presence of a ‘noxious odor’ was detected. At least one person was taken to the hospital.
The Metro Nashville Fire Department conducted an air quality test and reported no air containments were found.
As a result of the incident, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop to ensure safe resumption of airport operations.

As of 4:42 p.m., BNA officials announced that Concourse C has been reopened, and the situation is still being monitored.
BNA officials advised travelers to check with their airlines to determine the status of arriving and departing flights.
