At least one person has been injured after a Tri-Rail train derailed near Fort Lauderdale.
40 people have now been evacuated after the engine ignited.
Authorities have confirmed that the engine is on fire and fluids are leaking from it.
Rail employees have urged others to take other means of transportation.
The exact reason for the derailment is currently unknown.
The local area was forecasted to receive a large amount of rain shortly before the derailment.
