A large explosion has been reported at a secondary school in Karlstad, Sweden.
There are no reports of any injuries.
A fire has subsequently broke out at the scene following the ‘powerful’ explosion.
It is not known what caused the explosion.
Emergency services have responded and are currently at the scene.
An emergency service worker said: “We are on site now and are trying to ascertain what has exploded,” according to RT.
Local news stations have reported the blast possibly came from the gym area.
Students and teachers have been evacuated from the surrounding area.
